How Do You Check Your Transmission Fluid?
Always refer to your owner's manual to learn whether or not your car should be running when you check your transmission fluid.
Open the hood and find the transmission fluid dipstick (make sure not to confuse it with your motor oil dipstick). Wipe it with a clean rag, and check your fluid level.
If your fluid is coming up to the full line, just replace the dipstick and shut the hood.
If you are running low on transmission fluid in Selbyville or Georgetown , pour in more until it comes up to the fill line. What Does a Car's Transmission Do?
