It took me four times over the course of five months to come in and have my car looked at for a noise. I finally got a hold of Matt in service and he tester of my car after the technician has drove it multiple times within about three minutes, Matt heard the sound and told me it was a wheel bearing. So Matt has scheduled me appointment and got me a car all that was great. Matt is an awesome person. I just don’t understand why the technician for the last four times could never hear my noise. One time they told me that it was my tires so I went and bought four new tires. Guess it wasn’t my tires after all. Happy with my last visit not too happy with visits before.

Car was there for like 2 weeks. Spent $4800 on repairs(more than the car is worth) drove it down the road and returned. AC was working fine When it was brought in, now needs work, had no problem with gas mileage now there is issues with that. Another almost $3,000. Why weren’t these issues discovered the first time it was there? I would have decided not to repair it if I had been told it would be almost $5100! Now I’m not sure what to do. Very displeased!

I do not feel like my truck was fixed to the best of my knowledge. I want in for some issues, but was told the one issue could not be fixed unless they ran more diagnostic tests. I told them to stop the tests, but continue with the normal oil change. While charged for the oil change, my trucks software system still says the oil is low. I do not know who to trust here and I am worried I paid for for an oil change that did not actually happen.

Consistently have had great relationship with service department at IG Burton in Lewes DE for many years. Service department has proactive approach to vehicle servicing while maintaining communication with vehicle owner. In a purchase of any new vehicle, I base my decision on the purchase of any new vehicle on the dealerships service department in making my choice. A concerning issue however is the labor rate of common preventive maintenance to include, Transmission, Main,& Rear Wheel, and Cooling system service. The rates have increased approximately 300% from the previous service interval. Previously GM in conjunction with IG Burton provided service specials to provide a reasonable estimate for such services. These advertised special offers have virtually disappeared and when discovered, the service department in unaware and requires proof in documentation. I may not be able to continue.

The repair wasn't made. I was told, two computer updates were performed to correct the radio issues. I went home and shut the vehicle off, the next time I started the vehicle, the radio stopped playing music and radio screen indicated SONG. Not the 70's music I had been listening to. I tried updating the SIRUS radio signal over 6 times before bringing the vehicle in for service. When I went back the same day, I was told I have to wait another 3 weeks to attempt to get the radio corrected. Why 3 weeks, when you folks just attempted to repair the radio. So I'm supposed to wait 3 weeks and hopefully it's corrected on the second attempt or if not, what another 3 weeks for the third attempt? UNSAT having to wait 3 weeks. Poor service.

I would have given 5 stats but the communication and knowledge of the scheduling department leave a little to be desired. When I called to make the appointment I was asked if I would leave the vehicle. said yes andwas told drop off between 7:30 and 9. Then I received a confirmation, reminder about my 7:40 appointment so I texted. I asked if I could drop off in the evening before. It took a bit to get arespinse so I called and was told keys needto be dropped off before 5:30 ( it was 5:45 darn) Then I gota text that I could use the drop box anytime. I did not believe that wasan option. So I went to the service building and waited about 15 minutes to get checkedin because the person was busy. Service was good (I wish it came with a carwash) and everyone polite. I even stopped by tosay hi to Brian , my salesperson and he was helpful with a tech propblem ( user issue) . He always is very responsive , knowledgeable and helpful.

I’ve been a proud customer at IG Burton since early 2022. I’ve never had any issues with service . The staff is amazing always and is great with making me feel very welcome. Which is why I’m alittle in distrot with this past oil service appointment Tuesday August 19th . There could be more potential teaching and training on respect for the customer from representative Pam at the service desk . When I always scheduled oil change appointments months in advance via telephone’ IG Burton always takes care of me the right way . They perform outstanding leadership servicing my vehicle ‘ if any small adjustments or issues ‘ they will call if my vehicle is a drop off ‘ if I am waiting ‘ someone would come out and address the minor issue and will offer to take care of problem . On this last visit ‘ Pam did not check the fluids ‘ at this point I’m not sure if a proper oil change service was done . I paid over $100 dollars for an oil change service plus an additional $30 dollars Pam stated over the phone my back windshield wiper was removed . I’m alittle taken back when calling the service department that same day to address the lack of checking fluids of my vehicle’ both parties Pam & Jackie brubaker forward my calls to voicemail without answering . I left voicemail and still yet hasn’t gotten a return call . I understand mistakes happen’ however this is the worst experience I’ve had since I’ve been a proud customer of IG Burton .

Brought my car in for oil change, wheel alignmnent and a problem with the transmission. I was notifiied around 2 pm that the car would be done the next day as they wanted to make sure the transmission problem was fixed. I was lucky they were able to get it done before I had to go back to work, I drive a school bus so I drop it off after my morning run & wait even though it's drop off. I don't live nearby I usually sit in my car or in the teachers lounge in one of the schools. Usually I just have the shuttle driver drop off at work then have a coworker bring me back. I felt very comfortable dealing with the sales person and the finance manager. They seemed to be quite knowledgeable about the product that they were selling other than the mishap that happened with the truck that we got out of New Jersey everything I believe worked out quite well and that they were fair with trying to resolve my issue. where I felt a little uncomfortable was with the interest rate that I received after seeing ads on TV about lower interest rates and special deals. They were given to customers if they purchased the vehicle, I believe that possibly a little more effort would should’ve been made in that area of interest rate for the truck. I was instructed by the finance guy to at least make one payment due to the fact that my credit score would probably drop rapidly if I did not do that. I’m not sure that that was a true statement, but regardless, I can say that they gave me a fair deal. Thanks for your response. Thanks for your help and I’m quite pleased with the truck.

I brought the car in for a oil change and I had some complaints about the way the car was performing, left the car over night to give you more time with it , but the mechanic was not able to figure out what was going on with the car, says he drove it for 10 miles and didn't notice anything, l picked up the car the next day and sure enough I felt the problems 15 minutes after leaving, I guess if the check engine light is not on no one noise what to do. Fluids were “checked” and noted as filled/adequate, but they are not. There is no windshield wiper fluid. Tire rotation and inspection but it was not noted there is a large piece of metal in one of the tires. Several large $ items suggested and declined. Pulled out of the parking light and 2 check engine lights came on for air induction system and transmission. A few years ago I came in for work on my vehicle and it was noted that it was completed. After picking up my vehicle I noticed the work was not done. I tried to give your shop another chance, and once again let down but incomplete work and now additional issues with my vehicle. I would like to be refunded for the oil change so that I can now take my vehicle somewhere else. At this point I can’t trust that the oil change was even completed.

Good morning I. G . Burton. I have been a customer for years for purchasing and maintaining my vehicles at I. G Burton. Just before Thanksgiving . I felt that there was something different with brake pedal. I use the word spongy. I took the 2016 Lacrosse Buick to the dealership. And Mr. Matt Stanton was the advisor. He has been my advisor since 2016. I told him the problem. He made sure that the tires had equal pressure and find that there was more break dust on one wheel than the others. He knew that there was a problem. So we set a date before Thanksgiving to fix the problem. After examination ,( road test ) they found that The problem was with the left rear Caliper. Parts had to be ordered and it took a few extra days. The maintenance department replaced both rear calipers and hoses, bleed system and road tested. The brake feels normal to me and is working like it should. As I said before, Mr . Matt Stanton is a definite asset in the automotive industry. In my opinion , he is a genuine expert. Also to his credit and yours , Mr Stanton is very courteous , friendly and helpful. He certainly listens carefully to your problem and responds with expert knowledge. When I leave the dealership after vehicle has been serviced, I feel safe and my vehicle has be been given 100% attention. And it stated with Mr. Matt Stanton.
